New 5.70-8 Carlisle Extra Grip Tire DOT Highway Use 4 ply
Price is per tire. New 5.70-8 Carlisle Extra Grip traction tire. This is a special purpose DOT rated tire that can be used on the highway. This is a 4 ply rated load range B tire that can handle 715 lbs load at 50 psi. It is a tubeless tire but can be used with a tube if needed. Used on some log splitters and other special equipment that need a traction tire that can be pulled down the highway at highway speed. This tire can replace the discontinued Towmaster HT330 8 ply but will have 360 lbs less carrying capacity. The Carlisle is a USA made tire and actually built about twice as heavy as the old discontinued Towmasters but for some reason Carlisle only rated it as 4 ply load range B. The Towmaster was an import that was overrated on capacity obtained by running a high air pressure.
