I just wanted to let you know how therapeutic...
...your hammocks were at Camp Promise this summer. I am an Occupational Therapist working at a Children's hospital who works with many children with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other various disorders. Swinging in hammocks provides good movement (vestibular) input which helps a persons system to calm and organize. In our situation, a young man would swing in a hammock before chapel time, and then he was able to attend and participate for the session without having to leave the room! We were thrilled. The quality of your hammocks is wonderful, and provides a nice soft non binding surface that is very comfortable and soothing! Provide a therapeutic activity for your child or yourself at home and get a hammock!! You won’t regret it!!
