This incredible country is where it all started for the TouCan Hammock social project.  Whilst taking refuge from a tropical storm, we became transfixed by a lady weaving an incredible hammock, the attention to detail was simply incredible and when we learned this was her sole form of income selling them to passing tourists, we were even further transfixed.  When we discovered she was blind and was doing everything by touch alone, we became humbled and knew we had to help further.  TouCan Hammocks has now helped over 20 people who were homeless and or disabled, taking them off the streets and providing a fair salary, education and a better life.  We could not do all this without your incredible support.
